What are the steps in the certification process?
1. Enquiry
Contact us by phone, email or fax. We will answer any questions you may have and provide an information pack and obligation free quote.
2. Application
Upon application the business will be partnered with an assessor, a certification/assessment time frame established and a promotional Certificate of Application issued.
3. Document Review
Once your documentation is ready, it will be reviewed by your assessor to help identify any opportunities for improvement and report on your readiness to proceed.
A short preliminary assessment of the issues relating to your business and the resource needs for the full assessment. This step is compulsory for some programs and may occur prior to, at the same time as, or after the Document Review. In any case, where it is conducted, further consideration of the likely effectiveness of key documentation will be based on the findings of the pre-assessment.

5. Full Assessment
An on-site assessment of your entire management system against the nominated criteria. A report identifying the degree of compliance and a recommendation for remedial action/certification and any opportunities for improvement will be provided.
6. Certification Approval Certification recommendations are reviewed and ratified (as appropriate) by the Certification Approval Panel.
6. Licence Agreement
Upon successful certification a Licence Agreement and Certificate of Registration (valid for 3 years) will be issued.
7. Surveillance Assessment
Regular assessments of selected elements of your management system will be conducted at least annualy to ensure continued system performance.
8. Triennial Assessment
Every three years, an assessment similar to the Full Assessment will be conducted to revalidate your licence agreement and certificate.
At all times, ongoing support will be available to guide and assist you through the process.
